The Spirit of Africa Trophy. It’s man. It’s wilderness. It’s machine. All pitted against each other in a gruelling test of engineering, endurance and sheer courage – hosted by none other than the legendary Sarel van de Merwe.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is proud to announce that the Amarok is the official vehicle for this year’s Spirit of Africa Trophy. Elimination rounds will take place in Upington between 26 August and 21 October with the finals being held in Windhoek, Namibia, from 5 to 13 November 2010.
